Tim is the Executive Director and founder of Invision Global Network, a non-profit organization that works with people through a process of discovering, developing and deploying their skills, gifts and resources in the hopes of overcoming the various forms of poverty throughout the world. He has served with hundreds of volunteers in over 25 different countries during the past 20 years. He spent more than three years as a professional photographer prior to dedicating himself to the full-time work of volunteer service learning programs that provide training, mentoring and facilitate transformational serving experiences designed to promote holistic community development throughout the world.
Tim has lived in England, Mexico and spent three years in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where he served as the International Teams Coordinator for Willow Creek Community Church, South Barrington, Illinois. Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interpersonal Communications and Group Dynamics from Western Michigan University and is currently enrolled at Eastern University working on a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Tim is passionate about helping people find their place and purpose in life, loves the outdoors, is a guitar hack (crazy about worship), still tries to be an athlete (can't get enough basketball and volleyball), and actively serves in his church and community in St. Petersburg, FL. |
Cindie brings both business as well as personal experience to the organization. Cindie graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. She also earned 2 associates degrees from College of DuPage in Illinois and is currently at Eastern University working towards an MA in International Development. After graduating college Cindie felt called to development work; however, took a side road into the business world.
Prior to taking on a full time position with IGN, Cindie vocationally worked for the past 12 years as a Business Manager. There she learned valuable skills in business and program/project management that she now carries into her role at IGN.Cindie also brings extensive volunteer experience including mentoring, serving as volunteer lighting director on her church's production team, as well as serving nationally in Waveland Mississippi after hurricane Katrina in 2005, and also in building houses in Bay St. Louis Mississippi in 2006. Internationally Cindie volunteered at Willow Creek Association conferences in Germany in 2003 and again in 2005. Finding a love for people from all cultures and backgrounds Cindie participated in numerous international serving trips including: Thailand, India, Haiti, Kenya in Africa, and more recently Cindie spent 6 weeks in the Dominican Republic.
